Hey QVC Beauties! I have so many exciting things to share with you, and some funny stories too, but first I wanted to give you a little refresher on me and Wander Beauty, a brand that women all over the world are falling in love with. My passion for beauty sparked 12 years ago when I moved to Paris to begin my modeling career. I’ve walked in hundreds of fashion shows and shot for numerous editorials, I also walked in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show for 8 years! Sitting in the makeup chair for countless hours was the best beauty school that one could have.I’ve tried and tested everything and know all the best backstage beauty tips and tricks, all of which I'm excited to share with you on Beauty iQ, more on that later! My Co-founder and I are both busy women who are constantly on the move, like all of you! We noticed something was missing in the beauty world, we were craving luxurious products, but wanted them to do more and simplify our beauty routines. That's where the concept for Wander Beauty was born. We create luxurious multitaskers, enriched with skincare ingredients from around the globe, innovation is everything to us. Our goal is to create products that multitask just as well as all of you do and keep you looking gorgeous on the go!

Now onto some exciting news! I celebrated my birthday all weekend, as every woman should do! My husband surprised me with a nice dinner and on the day of my birthday we flew to California, along with our little cockapoo Carly, to visit my family.

I'm so happy to be home, I'll always be a low key California girl at heart. It’s the best feeling to have quality time with my parents, sisters and 5 month old niece! We are all spread across the country so these moments are rare but precious! But anyway, I wanted to share the beauty look that I created for my bday night out. It's a really fun and effortless look for any holiday party and what’s even more incredible is all you need are 3 products, our Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara, Eyes on the Fly Shadow and Liner duo in Concrete Jungle, a metallic taupe shade, and our Carryon Lip and Cheek Gel in Pink City, a mauve pink. Sultry and effortless in a snap!

Thanksgiving is an extra special holiday, not only because it brings my family together but it's also the day my husband proposed 3 years ago. He woke me up on thanksgiving morning and convinced me to go on a walk through the snowy woods by his family home, I felt like I was in a Christmas village decoration! We arrived at a wood pavilion where his parents had etched their initials as high school sweethearts. The moment he told me to look up at their initials, I saw writing on the log and before I knew it he was on his knee. Sounds so romantic right? Well yes, but there was a very funny twist! Sean wrote “Marry Me” in chalk on this wooden pavilion the night before a very heavy snow storm. His father and him were so worried that the chalk writing had washed away, so his dad rushed over before our walk. Little did Sean know, his dad disapproved of his phrase and decided to turn it into a question, rightfully so. Only problem was, he spelled my name horribly wrong! To this day we all laugh about it and the chalk writing is surprisingly still there. I love how real and funny our engagement was. I only wish I had put on some makeup!

Now back to beauty! I want to share a few of my favorite holiday beauty tips and trends. It's all about glow this season and playing with color. I have been obsessed with our new Wanderout Dual Matte Lipstick shade in Exhibitionist, a magenta, which is a fun twist on a classic holiday red lip. On the opposite side of our Wanderout lipstick is a neutral shade called BTS so you can actually mix the two shades together to create an ombré lip! Another way to amp up your look for the holidays is to swipe our Exquisite Eye Liquid Shadow in champagne on the center of your lids, over any shadow, to add a little twinkle to your eyes. You can even apply our champagne liquid shadow to your Cupid's bow to accentuate your pout for a fun night out! Finally, the best way to wake up and change up your look from office to holiday party or from day to night is with a full lash look! Our Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara actually lifts and curls your lashes as you apply and is buildable so you can add another coat in the evening without your lashes clumping together, it's pretty major!
