Recently Jayne Brown joined me, my sister Mona, and my sister-in-law Denise for a “Girls’ Weekend” in Napa, California. We had a blast!

When you’re in wine country, you’re welcomed everywhere with wine!

In honor of Jayne, we visited the Brown winery where we toured the vineyards and caves, met this adorable Newfoundland Poodle mix, and had a private tasting with delicious cheese pairings.

When you spend your days wine tasting, it’s better to leave the driving to the pros.

You learn so much about wine during the tastings and tours—the grapes, the barrels, the varieties. Del Dotto, Grgich and Cakebread are a few of the wineries we visited. And we met fun people along the way.

 

Napa Valley is not only home to some of the world’s best wine, it’s also home to some of the best restaurants. The food was delicious and the presentations were fantastic.

 

We finished the weekend with a little spa time. There’s nothing better than a girls’ getaway with sisters and sister-friends!
