Get Fit with Kerstin

by on ‎12-28-2016 08:48 AM

I am so excited to share with you, my new show!  “Get Fit with Kerstin” is starting Sunday afternoons in January.  January 8th at 4pm et to be exact!   Most of you know I am one of the resident fitness and wellness girls at QVC and now there is a great weekly destination for you to go and check out the latest in total wellness.

In true Kerstin form we will have some great segments like "Ask Kerstin" and “Mind Body Soul." Plus, the entire hour will be a constant low impact workout so even if you aren't shopping for fitness gear you can get in your weekly movement with me!

I'll be sharing with you not only the best machines but also supplements and fitness attire. I'll be looking for everything from water bottles to sneakers to gym bags. For me keeping fit isn't just about your waistline it's about finding balance. Balance between what you eat and what you burn. Balance between work and working out. Balance between your hips and shoulders, even balance between getting enough sleep and staying alert!

I really hope you will join me Sunday's at 4pm ET and make it a date that's good for you from head to toe. Thanks for supporting me and asking for a show like this over the past few years. I'm thrilled to share my passion with you every Sunday.

So how will this show work?  You'll be selling things while working out?  Interesting idea!

remember that being "fit" at your age is dramatically different and easier than when you get into your 60's and 70's.  i am more interested in someone who is fighting gravity, a slower metabolism, aging joints etc.   perhaps you will build that in, because then i would watch.

Will check it out for sure!  Btw, who makes your "Breathe" tee? Was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, and that was a recurring theme for me...congrats from a fellow fitness nut! Happy New Year!

Curious as to what training and education you've had in fitness and wellness. As other poster mentioned, many of us are not in our 30s or 40s or 50s or.....well you get the idea! Will certainly give this a try and hope to get some more ideas for a healthy lifestyle.

Courtmom, the shirt is by the brand AnyBody sold on QVC, but I think that particular color and word is currently sold out.

DukeBlueNan, I am thinking that she has said she was a fitness instructor prior to her life in television.

Count me in as someone who is not excited by this show and who is not planning to watch it. As folks have previously  mentioned, a good segment of the Q viewership have age- and disability-related problems that will prevent us from partaking in the planned on-air exercise.  Those of us who live in apartments also have to take into consideration noise issues for the people living in the apartment below. Nor do I, personally, take any pleasure in watching a host hopping and bopping around throughout the show; I'm interested in the products, not hosts exhibiting how physically fit they themselves are. I watched one product segment with Kerstin this past year where she exercised throughout the segment, and frankly thought that it was very distracting to have to keep visually tracking her rather than paying attention to what she was trying to sell. The whole gimmick won't be any real help to me as a customer in regard to buying the product, mainly because I don't identify with Kerstin in any way. That's my two cents about the planned show, for what it's worth. Smiley Happy

I like this idea.  I am looking toward to seeing fitness apparel and other products.   Please have segments talyored to seniors, those of us plus size, and with limited mobility.   Hopefully they will have Dr.'s, fitness experts, chefs, and  nutritionist as guest.  I hope the show will promote wellness without gimmicks.    Don't forget to have segments on meditation and other items to help reduce stress.  Mind and body go hand in hand.

Sounds just like an expanded version of exercise/fitness product segment on Saturday Morning Q with a new show title and SAME OLE PRODUCTS in a new format ........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ  not interested.  If you want to attract viewers QVC you need to KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS and what we would like to see.......JMHO

It's bad enough she thinks she is one of the models and takes every opportunity to show her yoga moves when she can, we don't need and exercise show hosted by Kirsten, I have to change channels enough already when she is hosting.
