Self-love isn’t always easy but it’s always important.

I am on a self-love journey and my hope is to inspire you to love yourself more along the way.

Recently, my beloved nieces came to visit me. Their names are Mary Lila and Lucy and they are 5 and 7-years-old. Words can’t describe how much I love them.

They always teach me so much about life. This time around, I kept looking at them and couldn’t help but notice the wonder in their eyes when they looked out at the world.

I couldn’t shake the feeling that I hope they always keep that wonder and zest for life. It reminded me how important it is to spend your life doing the things that make you happy, doing things that inspire you. When you are young, everything seems a little bit magical, the world seems so big and larger than life. As we get older, reality sets in.

I don’t know about you, but I still find magic in certain things. The movies, hugging a loved one, a good book, shopping. There are a few things that bring me childlike joy and I am going to challenge myself and you to do more of those things. What would happen if we did one of those things a week? Imagine how much better a month could be! Adult life can be so redundant, let’s break it up with a little magic.

Hi Courtney!  I watch you almost every night & I have to say, as nice as the other hosts are - you are one of my favorites...

I can tell how much you love you're nieces the way you speak about them; they really are cute!  You are right about how small children look at the world though; miss being that young sometimes, life was a lot easier and much more fun (adventurous)   Anyway, just wanted to say hello,...DJ from Rhode Island.
