It really did feel like Christmas in July when I learned that the 12 piece shower gel collection was going to be this month’s TSV.  Like so many of you, I’ve watched, with delight, as we have debuted collections like this in the past and then, within minutes (literally), seen them sell out.  The first time we showed a collection like this, it was gone in under five minutes and another time it was sold out in 8 minutes.  Customer demand tells us that you adore collections like these, both to use and to give.  I’m so happy that we are bringing you a Today’s Special Value that allows everyone to have the opportunity to shower themselves, literally, with 72 ounces of such a great variety of shower gel favorites as well as pick up an extra set or two for gifting.

I’m a big fan of our 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath.  I started using them before I worked for philosophy.  I actually was given a Cinnamon Buns shower gel as a hostess gift when we gave a family Christmas party in our New Jersey home in 2002.  From the first day I used it, I have used no other body cleanser.  We love the philosophy 3-in-1 formula for the multi-sensory uplifting experiences they provide first thing in the morning shower or as a calming soak at day’s end.  The formula is word class. I’ve never experienced the hydrating cushioned cleansing you get with a philosophy body wash.  Before using our bath and shower gels, I always ran for the lotion after bathing and slathered it on.  After using that first bottle of Cinnamon Buns, I noticed how soft, smooth and silky my skin was after bathing.  Who knew the body skin could feel so hydrated after a shower or bath?!

If you were to walk into our home today, you’d immediately notice that each shower looks like a pantry.  On average, we are each using a variety of three different shower gels in three different bathrooms.  Our son, Nick, is a big fan of Senorita Margarita and Beach Party.  They make him feel like he’s on vacation even when he is in the midst of finals at school.  And, I must admit, when he opens his door in the morning, I love the aroma wafting from his room mixed with the french roast coffee I am brewing.  When I smell those two co-existing scents, I can’t help but feel happy about the new day. 

Monte and I always have Lemon Custard in our shower; It’s a non-negotiable.  I stock up so we are never without it.  We consider it to be a staple like flour, eggs or butter.  I’m partial to Peppermint Stick, especially when I need to wake up quickly, like when I’m doing a philosophy show in the middle of the night at QVC.  If you wonder why I always appear so awake, my secret weapon is often Peppermint Stick. 

Our daughter, Caitlin, like her brother, Nick, is a big fan of Beach Party.  She also adores our new Basil Cucumber scent as do I.  It immediately makes you feel like you are at the spa:  serene, calm, focused.

Our family is already enjoying all 12 shower gels and we are having fun rotating them from bathroom to bathroom and discussing our experiences with each.  This set gives us all an opportunity to experience a scent we have not tried before.  Yet, there is more than enough to go around.  I have to tell you that I have another collection assembled in a basket in our guest bathroom.  I look forward to surprising and delighting house guests who will each have the opportunity to select a different shower gel every day of their visit.  I’m also giving a baby shower this Fall and plan to use sets as table decorations/favors for the guests.  I know everyone is going to “ooh and ahh” over what they get to take home as a treat.''
