Family Forever

You know how you can just feel the presence of those we loved and are now gone from earth?? I think it's why my Facebook friends share my love of cardinals. When you see one it is a messenger from heaven, a loved one paying you a visit.

A few weeks ago I went to see Coco, a movie about family, music and shoes! I loved it and cried through most of it.  When we were leaving the theater I told my sister and my daughters I wanted to go home and get out  photos of family members who have gone before us.  Especially ancestors I never met, but want to keep their memory alive.

When we were leaving, Deirdre was already in the car and I was hugging Cara goodbye since she was heading off to work.  We both looked up and a FLOCK OF CARDINALS flew over our heads!!!! They soared into the sun and then disappeared! We both started sobbing!!! Poor Dee was in the car wondering what was happening!  If Cara hadn't seen it too I don't think I would have believed my eyes.

I knew in that moment that the incredible sign from heaven was a blessing from my family.  Know that love never dies.  Those you've lost are found beside you every day.  You are blessed with boundless love!!!
