I just had a great opportunity to revisit one of our best offerings of a point and shoot camera. Back in September we launched a TSV from Olympus that blew our customers away and flew out the door! Now, it is back my popular demand and it is only going to be offered here at QVC!

The Olympus SZ-14 has a huge amount of great features packed in to a small pocket size. Honestly, I think calling this camera “pocket sized” is misleading. Maybe “rocket sized” is more appropriate. This of course would refer to its powerful zoom, fast shutter speed and HD video.

The first thing I want you to notice is how cool it looks. This is a metal finish with a great weight that feels good in the hand. Plus with its superior balance it feels professional in a small size.

Now I could go on and on about the looks of our Olympus Camera but let’s get to the action. This zoom is incredible! It is a 24x optical zoom. But with the additional digital zoom you can get so close to the action you will probably feel like you are a part of it.

And speaking of “ACTION . . .” You can be your own movie producer with video recorded in 720P High Definition. But the big “Wow!” of this camera is the sports mode of fast shutter speed. This camera can record up to 10 frames per second. That will guarantee when you are at the big game and your little all-star scores the winning goal. You are pretty much guaranteed to get a “usable” photo. (Remember, delete the bad photos and only show them the good ones.) Plus you will be impressed when all of these photos come out clear. It isn’t enough to just shoot photos they need to be clear. Nobody wants to display blurry picas.

One quick mention for you. I love the magic filters with this camera. You can explore a ton of creative elements without ever having to put a photo on a computer. Take a look at this beautiful picture taken by my dear friend and fellow Program Host, Dan Wheeler.

Now check it out with two different magic filters applied!

You can create pieces of art for your home without even putting a paint brush to a canvas.

In fact try this. Take a picture with the “fisheye” filter while shooting it at the corner of a building.
