Saying goodbye to summer is never easy, but I always look forward to decorating for fall. It’s my favorite season! Even though it’s very early in the season, I decided to get started…but I resisted decorating outside. I was afraid that spooky Halloween decorations and Labor Day celebrations wouldn’t quite mix…and was perhaps pushing the envelope a bit too far! Instead, I focused on my indoor décor and thought I would share it with you!

The fireplace is my favorite focus in my house...

I mixed and matched decorations from QVC, including Valerie Parr Hill, Bethlehem Lights, Plow & Hearth, and our newest lanterns...

For a little fun this year, I changed the torch lights on the mantle by adding multicolor candy corn and leaves...cheap and easy!

Of course, battery-operated lights and flameless candles bring everything to life when the lights go down...

I am excited to use my new lanterns outside my front door with a hay stack, corn, and an ornamental pepper plant but I am waiting until the heat wave is over...until then, I gave them a quick fall look by adding a section of faux leaves.

I love collecting new decorations every year and adding to my collection. This year I’m loving this pumpkin décor from Plow & Hearth.

I love to use candle rings to highlight my Bethlehem Lights candles and my chandelier…

I am only getting started…but along with the fragrance of a pumpkin candle I’ve been enjoying, I am well on my way to enjoying fall! Please share pictures of how you get your home ready for the harvest season...I think I need a cup of pumpkin spice coffee!
