Thank you to everyone for joining my Facebook live stream chat the other day! It was so nice to read all of your comments and get to answer your questions on how to create a spring garden INSIDE your home for Easter. I took some photos to help guide you step-by-step on how to recreate the look of the chandelier. Hopefully it will inspire you to do the same in your home!
As I said in the chat, I had a vision for what I wanted to create, but I definitely needed the help of my friends at Matlack Florist to pull off the overall look. I thought of using fresh greens, but they felt it would be easier and more cost effective to use faux flowers to achieve the look. As you can see below, we used a wire basket to anchor the large floral picks. Then we built the look by adding and securing the picks with wire.
As you can see, it doesn’t look great at first! The most important thing is to secure and place them. You can adjust them afterward. Chris and Ann Marie from Matlack were amazing at this!!
Now it was time to set the table. I used gold accents for the place settings and colorful stemware to tie in the florals from above.
I didn’t have gold napkin rings, so I used a linen ribbon that was threaded with gold wire to get a similar effect.
It all came together quite nicely!
I ordered fresh greens for the table to create the look of a grassy knoll. The ceramic bunnies look perfect just nestled amongst the arrangements.
My sideboard is all set for the desserts!! I brought the same elements from the table to it so the room felt tied together, and I put out my favorite squirrel nuts mixture for snacking!
The look was even more magical at night! Look at how the florals cast their shadows on the ceiling!
I can’t wait to celebrate Easter this year!! It will surely be magical in this setting. I hope you were inspired to try some of these elements out in your brunch!
Happy Easter!!
XOXO
