A very busy week at QVC...

Dear Friends –

I am looking forward to a very busy week at QVC!  I begin my week on Monday with Lisa Robertson in PM Style, on October 17th at 7pm.  Anyone looking for a new heart?  I will debut my sterling and brass clean heart series that includes a large pendant, ring, and post earrings.

How can I reinvent the heart, yet again?  The entire collection of Clean Heart jewelry for QVC is about the dynamics of the intersection of two flat planes intersecting one another.  In this case, a heart shape is formed when I make a slit in one side and insert and solder the other side into it, creating a strong bond.  I always enjoy re-inventing shapes and forms that we take for granted, as it causes me and others to smile with joy.

I am back on Tuesday, October 18th at 5pm in Silver Style to debut my new sterling silver wave band ring.  I adore this ring, for it is all silver, weighty, and it moves about your finger like the wind.  The multiple flowing bands are alive as they seem to move before your eyes.  The positive and negative space created by the undulating silver bands is eye-catching and comforting, which is what I strive for when designing all of my jewelry.

Are you looking for new gemstone items?  How about a smoky quartz necklace and ring?  I call these pieces my Weblet collection, as they are inspired by a famous necklace of mine called the Web of Life, a grand prize winner from the Platinum Guild contest in 2000.  This prize-winning necklace features a spider web-like design with cellular shapes in platinum that were joined into a network by wires.  In the center of each cell, one side features a diamond, and the other side a pearl.  This concept has been reworked for QVC using faceted smoky quartz that is prong-set within the center of each organically shaped "cell."

I have also designed some new Andy Warhol pieces:  a celestial toggle necklace and earrings set.  The Andy Warhol Celestial Collection is all based on the symbols Andy drew that are of the sky and heavens.  I have taken great liberty to design necklaces, earrings, and a bangle using the pierced technique in order to achieve the light-hearted and whimsical essence of the celestial jewelry.

Be sure to tune in once again on Thursday, October 20th at 6am and again at 11pm.  I will have new Andy Warhol and RLM Studio items to show you at that time.  Did you check out the October 1st earring video on QVC.com?  That earring will be in the 11pm show.  I will also have a new nugget cuff in a choice of brass or hematine as well as several other new items, so be sure to tune in!

There will be lots of new items offered, so please join me as often as you can to get your holiday shopping done early, or treat yourself to something new for the holiday season.

See you soon!
