I've noticed ihavetoomuchstuff hasn't posted in a long time. She always started the threads about what did you use up this week.

Hi LovePhil, it seems a lot of the people that were here when I came are gone. Belleandme, MathProf? Is that right? I like celery, ihavetoomuchstuff, and others that are no longer posting. Where is everyone?

I noticed stuff was not posting for awhile now. I have not seen many of the others from the past either. Celery still posts occasionally. I don't post as much I used to either since the brand has changed so much since the Coty takeover.

My love for the core brand is still there but not so much on the newer stuff. Some of it is nice while most is not.

I do like that they have expanded certain faves like the fresh cream products and lemon custard etc.....but all the new fragrances seem to be nothing like the original graces and loves as far as core goals of not smelling like a strong typical fragrances.

When Cristina's sensitive nose left so did the quality of fragrances. Still can't believe BG is mostly gone and even IG as that had a loyal fan base as well.

I guess I could go on a rant here but I will save it for now EXCEPT I am really ANGRY they seem to be phasing out the original HIAJ dry/sensitive formula!!! They have the new renewed HIAJ dry and it is HORRIBLE! Has a very strong scent so it is definitely not for SENSITIVE people and the consistency is nothing like the original dry formula!

I have rosacea and original HIAJ dry/sensitive is the only moisturizer I have found that worked PERFECTLY for me and I tried ALOT of stuff!

In fact I have a plan to call philosophy this week to complain about this and few other things as I am currently making my list of things.

So basically maybe people are not posting so much or not at all on here because they have fallen out of love with the brand or are very annoyed with some of the changes.

Wanted to add the new renewed HIAJ DRY formula scent is horrible due to fact the old HIAJ dry/sensitive had ZERO scent and now this new stuff has a floral almost perfume like scent.

Makes no sense to me why they would due that to the many of use who have sensitive skin and noses! (by the way the new renewed HIAJ regular has this same strong scent as well!)

That is why I went to the philosophy brand to begin with as it was geared to sensitive people who didn't like ""in your face"" strong scents!

Philosophy should know better than to do that with a skin care item! I guess COTY feels they need to STRONGLY SCENT everything!

I've also noticed their absence, if any of you see this, you are missed. There are also waaaay fewer postings as a whole each day, I remember playing catch up to get everything read. Have to believe it's frustration with the changes and Phil not being the same.

Hi everyone. Yes, you're right. A lot of people just don't post anymore or post a lot less (like me). I sure enjoyed the days when Cristina was on and there was a lot of activity on the board.

Pink, I think there have been so many no scent complaints that these products are now scented in a way that Cristina would have never allowed. I held out hope for this brand for a long time, and will always buy the core fragrances as I think they are better than ever, but the 3 in 1's are sure not the same as before. The 3 in 1 scents use to be so spot on it was amazing. Most of the new ones do not have that wonderful unique touch. I hope Baby Grace does not go away. If it does, I will be sad.

I agree with you completely. I have been hoping things would return to normal or at least closer to the old philosophy but I guess that ship has sailed.

The shower gels are still one of my guilty pleasures of the brand but I don't have near as many varieties as years past for the same reasons you have mentioned. They just are not done as well as before (scent wise) except for some of the older/classic scents but the formulas are not nearly as creamy and moisturizing as before.

Cristina's nose is certainly missing in the newer products as well as her more simplistic approach to the skin care line and core items. Now a new skin care item seems to come out every month. Who could possibly keep up with that or even want to?

I still stick to my core items that have been around since the Cristina days and have only tried a few new things here and there which were not worth the hype and price. Such a disappointment.

Still angry about the original HIAJ dry formula being phased out............

I hope ihavetoomuchstuff is just too busy to post, and not something more challenging. I didn't post often on her "what did you use up" threads, but I enjoyed reading them. She always included a little something from her life in the first post of each week's thread - i.e. sharing something about her students, planting new flowers in her garden, an exchange she had with someone on the bus, etc. She had a way of providing a really nice visual. Sending her positive thoughts, and hope she returns soon!
