For some unknown reason---maybe I was temporarily posessed by aliensWoman Embarassed---I decided to try Plexaderm. And what a HUGE waste of $$ and time---used on my eye baggage---followed the instructions to the letter and it did look pretty ok--but then I put over top, a light layer of powder concealer --very lightly almost a whisper of the brush---and it broke and the baggage sprung forth in all its puffy glory!!!Woman Sad then there was the white residue --thought I patted it in as suggested--nope!!! Dear gawd!!! Had to wipe it all away and start over with my normal routine-----sending back and getting a metal colander to wear on my head to ward off those aliens !!!!Woman Wink

Not that brand, but I found that the "hold" didn't last all day on similar items...   (I do have oily skin, tho.)

@wagirl  Those kinds of products are meant to be entirely alone, no skin care or, I guess, in your case, not even powder anything. Which would mean that they might be good short-term if you are having a professional portrait done. Then again, photographers know how to edit out any imperfection. Photographers, not the DMV.

@wagirl You had me laughing this morning, but not at you. No, with you. I'm convinced that I've also been temporarily possessed by aliens more times than I can count...LOL. I've given up on even trying magical products. Too many failed trials. Just the basics for me now.

@wagirl Been there, done that!  I have tried several of these "depuffer" creams and they are all the same.

They look good for a few minutes and depending on the light as long as you can't see the white residue, they are like a tease seeing yourself a bit back in time when we didn't have these issues.

However just move your head and you will see the white residue which looks pretty bad in my opinion and once the spell breaks the puffiness comes back in all of its glory but only with a white residue!  UGH!

I also have had to wash everything off and start with my makeup all over before going out!

Well, I guess that explains why the tv ads demonstrate this on a man, since men don't typically wear any makeup.
