I own a brow pencil by Philosophy which they no longer make but what is great about this pencil is it is very thin so it is perfect for filling in which I need to do.  I also have one unopened one.  I think the thinner the better especially when you are filling in.

I like the L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer pencil with the spoolie on the bottom. The pencil is retractable & available at Ulta & drugstores. Comes in many colors.

My favorite is the YBF brow pencil sold by HSN. Comes in 1 color but it works for me.  I like the size and consistency.

I tried the ELF pencil but the texture is too soft and the pencil lead part is too thick.

I like browluxe in coal and kosas brow pop in gray . I have salt and pepper hair and most browns are too red . Taupe is just off . I need true gray .

@Knit-Chick   IT Universal Taupe is a great pencil and used it for years...but it can read a bit red (warm toned). I didn't realize it until I looked at my brows in bright sunlight. I've switched to a combo of ABH Med. Brown powder and/or Benefit pencil.

@marmarbrooklyn   I'll eventually get there, too, but as of this morning, my brows are still dark.

I like the CoverGirl Easy Breezy Micro-Fine Pencil in the shade rich brown.

I have found that half of the battle is finding the right shade.  I cannot have a pencil that pulls warm on me.  I prefer a fine tip, not at an angle and it can't be too waxy.   I also don't want a pencil I have to sharpen.  

I also love the ELF Wow Brow Gel.  I put that on first and then follow with the pencil.  I find that works much better for me than pencil followed by gel.

I keep trying every new product for my brows, and I've found some good ones. I have blonde hair. My brows have always been darker. I can't wear taupe, which is usually the most popular color for blondes.

So my all-time favorite, like others have said, is Anastasia!

Just thought I'd add that a brow powdwe ( I love It Cosmetics) works best for me.  As a teen and young woman, we over plucked.  Then came Brooke Shields!!!
