what do you use to wash foundation sponge that comes in Laura Geller and B Minerals products

I use Laura Geller and Bare Minerals Ready foundation. Each comes with a sponge which I use as the brush does not apply enough product for me. What is the best thing to use to clean the sponges? I heard Laura say to use an antibacterial cleaner but wasn't sure what she meant. Can I use a type of soap and how often should I clean it?

I have the LG baked foundation which comes with a sponge. I wash it after each use by wetting it, pumping out some antibacterial hand soap that's in a bathroom dispenser. I work the soap into a lather and squeeze sections until the makeup breaks up. I rinse with lukewarm water, squeezing to clear out all of the suds.

Sounds more complicated than it really is.......lol. Smiley Happy
