I really like Chaz Dean. But my hair does not seem to like ANY of the WEN shampoos. I have tried all of them (the regular ones, not the seasonal). My hair feels flat and oily when I use them. Wish he would make one that is ONLY for fine hair. They smell great and I believe it really is good for the hair. But just doesn't seem to work for me. So disappointed.

Girl, you are about to set off a tirade of craziness! The WEN Cult members do not like it when you call it a SHAMPOO. It is a conditioning cleanser. I agree with you, and so do many others. I can't use it no matter what combo I use or how much I rinse. Mine is now for shaving until it is gone.

Try the Bamboo- Most of the scents/formulas I don't care for either. There is a formula for fine hair. I really just use Wen now as a conditioner because my hair gets easily tangled and I love the smoothness. Wen is certainly not an end-all and there is definitely hype. The models hair doesn't look "perfect", "amazing", etc., when Chaz is not in the studio.

I have fine, med.(use to be thin) oily hair and found using WEN for both cleanses just didn't work for me. WEN weighed my hair down and was greasy.
I now use a reg. shampoo first and WEN as a conditioner(prefer seasonals) and what a difference. My hair is silky, smooth, shiny and has about doubled in thickness. If you still have WEN you might try this method and see if it works...it has for several people in my life.

YO croemer! I've tried like heck to get your attention. Especially during the western division playoffs. I know you're busy running down the halls of the forums here.
Got to hand it to you, your Spurs ROCK! Love Pop their coach.. such a straight shooter.
Back to Wen, glad to hear Bamboo gets love. I just ordered my first bottle.
Also croemer, posted about a Sephora spray formulation foundation which works beautifully. I thought of you since you love Dior Flash. This is a good one.. 2.5 oz for $26. Check it out.

So true. I remember my very first time on the wen boards and my first post ( april 2012) was how wen tea tree gave me an allergic reaction and the cucumber aloe stripped out ALL my hair color and boy I was flamed like I never was flamed before LOL and god forbid if you suggest a regular shampoo first then wen as a deep conditioner secod you will really get ripped apart.
I still have wen leftover from that purchase 2 years ago lol. I will not throw it away for i do not like wasting money but every once in the while i will use a regular shampoo then wen as a second cleanse(as a conditioner) just to use up the stuff. I do still buy the oils for it heals my scaly skin in the winter
I remember when the one wen model left wen and started to model for Alterna ( or whatever) on QVC and man the " wenners" started a flame thread devoted to that poor sweet model.

Not every product works for every body...that said, I too tried wen and disliked the experience. I use Living Proof products and especially adore Perfect Hair Day shampoo and conditioner.

I have been saying that for years! The WEN girls only look like that when he is there. It is a result of styling and not his products! Look at them when he isn't there... just your normal run of the mill hair then. Does it work well for some people? I'm sure it does. I am not one of them however. LOL Drives me insane when he gets on his high horse saying if it doesn't work for you then you aren't doing it right. Really? Full of yourself much? Name me one product that works for everyone??
