Re: undereye concealer recommendations please?

I too have tried every brand under the sun and I love Maybelline's Age Rewind - I buy the highlighter one and use a BB or CC cream and I'm good all day. I love it and highly recommend Maybelline's Age Rewind with the sponge tip. For $8 give it a try.

Two suggestions & I have used both. Stila in the tube concealer & Laura Mercier secret concealer which I currently use. She also has other concealers so check it out. Nordstrom carries both & free shipping.

I know you don't like the IT Under Eye Concealer. What didn't you like about it, the color, texture, application, wear? I have it and find that it covers well, but it's a little tacky. I tried the Under Eye Concentrate and like it better.

Jean Louise: I tried the IT and no matter how little I used, it was way too creamy. It never set. So the texture and the wear didn't work for me. Everytime I looked at my eyes, the product had migrated into the fine lines, so I felt like I spent all day smoothing it out, and removing excess product.

So it looked bad and didn't really do the job.

Re: undereye concealer recommendations please?

I really like Serious Skincare CC Eye, it's not to thick & cakey, and covers pretty well, and a little goes a long way. I used to use Maybelline Age Rewind concealer which is also not too thick with decent coverage, before I found SSC CC Eye. Both cover pretty well without settling into fine lines & wrinkles, and last.

Thicker concealers for me are too cakey, don't really set, and end up showing my dark cirlces through by the afternoon. I recommend SSC & Maybelline if you prefer a thinner concealer that still covers pretty well!

Re: undereye concealer recommendations please?

I just want to say ""THANK YOU"" to all of you ladies who recommended Maybelline's Age Rewind Concealer. I have really dark circles under my eyes (hereditary) and have tried every product to cover them. Many very expensive. I'm 54 and have those little fine lines starting to appear. Most concealers worked OK but after a while started to creep into those little fine lines. I happened to see this post and thought why not give this one a try since I've tried so many already - what's one more. The Age Rewind is wonderful. I have been using Clinique advanced concealer but is starting be too drying for my aging skin. Once again Thank You!! You ladies are the best!!!

Re: undereye concealer recommendations please?

A friend of mine has tried so many concealers & finally she tried EL double wear Concealer & loves it. It does not settle into her fine lines & she gets great coverage that lasts.

I reco'd an inexpensive face primer which she uses under her eyes, it drys fast to a more matte finish which she uses before the concealer. Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer sold at Walmart. It so sheer & not tacky & dries very fast. Great for an under eye primer.

A tip for making your mascara from smearing is...Take a pointed eyeshadow brush or a pointed Qtip, then just apply a thin line of a matte powder under your lashes & also works well from keeping your pencil liner in place. HTH... Good Luck!

Maybelline Rewind as mentioned is awesome & its one of the conealers I use but I don't have deep circles to cover. You may want to try it but not sure it will work well for your needs.

I have the same problem with oily eyelids and migration of eye makeup.I like Maybelline Age Rewind (among others) but find the most important thing is using a eye setting powder with a small brush..just a small amount.
