this is o/t...an update to some earlier posts. if you don't care, or if o/t drives you crazy, please read no further. in any case, please don't leave any nasty comments, because....sigh....i just couldn't take it.

Hello, dear ones,

just wanted to give you all an update on how i'm doing since my separation last october. today is valentine's day, and after much back-and-forth, my soon-to-be-ex-husband and i have finally come to an agreement. it works out nicely for me, so i feel very comfortable with it. i'm glad it's over, though....it was gut-wrenching. it's a strange thing to have to figure out what fourteen years of your life was worth.

next thursday i am moving in to my apartment in the city. i am pretty excited about that; the neighborhood is really cool, and it's near everything i need. i'm not in a rush; i have until june before i officially have to be out of this place, so i can take my time and have things repaired, get it painted, and get it all cleaned up.

i want to thank you all for your support and kind words during this time. coming to the boards has been a fun diversion.

now it's only five o'clock and i don't care: i'm calling it a day. so i will have a glass of champagne with my sweetheart, my small dog cosima.
