For those that have tried both, which one do you like better? thank you

I find the biggest difference is the brush rather than the formula for these two Tarte mascaras. I do not like the larger, plastic brush on the Flashes version. Deposits too much wet mascara on my fine but long (due to Latisse!) lashes. If your eye lash strands are thicker, then Flashes might work better. In general, my fine lashes prefer the bristle brushes. I have smaller eyes and larger brushes, whether plastic or bristle, do not work for me. I find the shape of the brush, type of brush, bristle placement are as important as the formula. Hope this helps you decide. Also, the Flashes is a wetter mascara and I find, for me, it leaves my lashes crunchier and with less volume but I think the volume issue is caused by the brush style. For me.

I much prefer the 'lashes' version. I tried the other one and ended up tossing it. I hated the brush.

"Lashes" for me, too. Good stuff!

Agree with the others, hate the brush on Flashes. One side of it is firm plastic bristles but you can't tell which side is which so I always end up jabbing my eye when I go to apply. I marked the handle to show me which side is the normal side and "if" I get it right I do prefer that formula but inevitably always jab my self and then blink hard and then get mascara all over my under eye area. Too annoying to be worth it. Lashes is a great mascara, drier formula, very natural looking but gives fullness.
