You think so? I love baby grace and I didn't connect the two at all. Here are the fragrance notes for each:

Wow. I received the Sunshine Grace spray/lotion kit early last week. But I have been miserable with allergies and I sprayed a little on my wrist and could not really tell if I liked it or not. It did NOT give me an immediate migraine like Summer Grace and Falling in Love Summer gave me.
My fragrance faves/ranked are Pure Grace, Unconditional Love, Amazing Grace, Falling in Love. I have a spritz in Baby Grace that is ok but it smells a little like Desitin to me. The other Graces (Eternal/Living/Giving) were ok but not me. I like the smell of Love Sweet Love, but never purchased it and Loveswept is another one that is ok but not "me". And Fresh Cream is sour on me.
All that said, with the small spray of Sunshine Grace I put on my wrist I did not smell anything "beachy". Beachy to me is exactly what Patti67 says , coconut or coppertone (or even a hint of pineapple...I love Beach Party! I think one of the reasons I love Pure Grace so much is that the lotion actually smells like the old Sea and Ski lotion on me.) But I plan to try Sunshine Grace again this weekend now that I have my allergies under control and can breathe again. I hope I like it enough to keep it.

I do think it smells like it. I really do but they don't have any of the same notes except musk. How weird.
. Maybe green accord is Bergamot and white woods is similar to blonde woods And then they both have the musk. I am unsure exactly what solar musk is or if it is any different from regular notes.
Thank you for providing the notes!
I have never smelled Summer Grace so I can not make any connection with that one.

I tried it last week, and immediately thought baby grace and summer grace combined.
Now, I haven't worn either of these 2 scents in months, so they may not directly compare. It left me feeling satisfied with my summer grace in my stock.
I have never smelled summer grace however this scent made me rethink the TSV in Baby Grace!

The picture on the bottle was adorable and many people said that it kind of smelled like Bobbi Brown's Beach. I love Beach but I ran out of it well over a year ago. I read comments on several sites that said the fragrance was reformulated but took a chance and ordered anyway. It was awful - it was definitely not the same lovely Beach that I had been wearing for years.
Anyway, I ordered the Sunshine Grace on Drugstore.com about two weeks ago. I was even able to get 20% off my purchase so I was extra thrilled. After wearing Sunshine Grace several times I have to say that I'm completely underwhelmed. I decided to keep it and use it up but I'm not crazy about it. IMO it smells nothing like Beach. It kind of reminds me of Summer Grace, which I actually like, but to me, Sunshine Grace is just......meh.
lmt, I haven't tried Sunshine Grace, so I can't comment on what it smells like to me, but I just wanted to mention that I remember some posts/reviews describing SUMMER Grace as being "beachy." Just wanted to throw that out there, since you mentioned Sunshine Grace kind of reminded you of SUMMER Grace. I, myself, don't remember what Summer Grace smells like (I tried it only once when it first launched), so I don't know if it's supposed to be a "beachy" scent or not. I'm strictly an Unconditional Love and Pure Grace person - I do like some of the other Graces and Loves in other formulations (3 in 1, lotion, scrub, etc), but for spray fragrance or EDP, I'm strictly UL and PG. I do like trying the new scents when they launch, but I seem to always prefer the originals. :-)
Sorry your purchase didn't work out for you! I know it's a bummer when you're really excited to receive something, yet it ends up not being what you thought.
Summer Grace is really very nice but I don't detect any kind of a 'beachy' scent to it. To me it smells more like a powdery floral scent. It's so hard to describe fragrances, isn't it?
I've tried absolutely every fragrace Philosophy has come out with. FIL and UL are my favorites. BG is also nice. As much as I love the smell of AG, I just can't wear it - it smells horrid on me.
lmt, Just wanted to clarify that I wasn't trying to say SUMMER Grace does smells "beachy," but that I had read comments from people who had described it as being "beachy." And when you mentioned Sunshine Grace kind of reminded you of SUMMER Grace, I thought maybe the people who were describing Sunshine Grace as "beachy," also thought of SUMMER Grace as "beachy." Whew - did you follow any of that? ha! Have a nice weekend. :-)

sorry to say...but, kind of like a cheap flower scent. I did spray my sweater and not my skin--I'm curious to sample again on my skin and see if I feel the same. It's nothing like summer grace. They are completely different. summer grace has that peach note that might smell "summery" to some.
I don't understand what people mean when they say it smells "beachy" ! I lived in South Florida for 7 years...the beach smelled salty, and a little fishy. If sunshine grace smelled like coconut, or coppertone, I could understand the connection but, it doesn't smell like either of those "beachy" things.
Celery...please go try it. The citrus note might be what seems "sharp" to me. I can't wait to hear what you think!
Thanks for your thoughts. I'm going to try to go to Ulta or Sephora this weekend to see if either place has a tester of Sunshine Grace. I'm even more curious now that I've read the many different interpretations!

This scent seems to be an intriguing one! Well, it sure intrigued me enough that I had to get back in and try Sunshine Grace again. This time I sprayed it on my wrist, as well as saturated one of the fragrance paper strips they give you for sampling.
I 'worked' at the scent for a good amount of time. I still think the first notes remind me of the Bobbi Brown Beach fragrance. But then I really thought about the notes that were sticking with me as it developed ... aha, it suddenly hit me! Do you remember Sea and Ski sunblock from back in the day? I used Sea and Ski a lot growing up in Hawaii
I really enjoyed smelling Sunshine Grace today, more so than when I smelled it the first time the other day. I'm sure the reason why I liked it so much today was because of the deja vu moment it brought me, and all the memories that went along with it. Having said that, I'm still not sure I would wear this as a regular fragrance. BUT I would probably enjoy having this scent in a candle that I could light up in the bathroom! ![]()

(all just my opinion and how this works for me)
I wore Sunshine Grace spray fragrance this weekend. I really like it. It does not smell ""beachy"" or ""floral"" to me. It smells nothing like Summer Grace or Baby Grace. It is different from any of the other philosophy scents. It does smell more like something that I will wear in spring and summer. It definitely did not give me a headache and the scent lasted all day on me.
I still have not tried the lotion but I am keeping the set.
Cindy
PS : Patti67 - OMG...all I wore in High School was Coty Wild Musk...my absolute fave.
