Hi Tissyanne. I'm glad you like the new fragrance. I love it. It smells very fresh to my nose and exactly as I expected it to be. I didn't care so much for several of the other summer fragrances Philosophy has offered the past few years but I'm really enjoying this. I hope all is well with you and yours.

Hi colliemom, I am glad to hear from you. We both like Sunshine Grace and I think it is the perfect summer scent. Philosophy captured sun, beach, sand, and summer all in one. I have both the lotion and spray. I am doing well, my son is still having health concerns, but we are thankful he is here with us. I am enjoying myself once again for the first time in a while. I hope you and your family are well, and that you are enjoying the warmer weather. We are super dry, not a drop of rain in months, and lots of blowing dirt. My eyes are better, still dry, but sleeping under a humidifier and Restasis has helped. Good to hear from you.

ok--I really need to go back to ULTA (wish there was a Nordstrom, or full size Sephora, or Macy's that carried philosophy nearby!!! I'm not a fan of ULTA) and spray sunshine grace on my skin. Every review I read doesn't sound anything like what I smelled.

Patti, What did Sunshine Grace smell like to you? You mentioned a sharp note, but what notes did you detect and/or what did it smell like to you? I haven't tried SG (yet).

Just wanted to throw that out there, since you mentioned Sunshine Grace kind of reminded you of SUMMER Grace. I, myself, don't remember what Summer Grace smells like (I tried it only once when it first launched), so I don't know if it's supposed to be a "beachy" scent or not. I'm strictly an Unconditional Love and Pure Grace person - I do like some of the other Graces and Loves in other formulations (3 in 1, lotion, scrub, etc), but for spray fragrance or EDP, I'm strictly UL and PG. I do like trying the new scents when they launch, but I seem to always prefer the originals. :-)

Sorry your purchase didn't work out for you! I know it's a bummer when you're really excited to receive something, yet it ends up not being what you thought.

Summer Grace is really very nice but I don't detect any kind of a 'beachy' scent to it. To me it smells more like a powdery floral scent. It's so hard to describe fragrances, isn't it?

I've tried absolutely every fragrace Philosophy has come out with. FIL and UL are my favorites. BG is also nice. As much as I love the smell of AG, I just can't wear it - it smells horrid on me.

sorry to say...but, kind of like a cheap flower scent. I did spray my sweater and not my skin--I'm curious to sample again on my skin and see if I feel the same. It's nothing like summer grace. They are completely different. summer grace has that peach note that might smell "summery" to some.

I don't understand what people mean when they say it smells "beachy" ! I lived in South Florida for 7 years...the beach smelled salty, and a little fishy. If sunshine grace smelled like coconut, or coppertone, I could understand the connection but, it doesn't smell like either of those "beachy" things.

Celery...please go try it. The citrus note might be what seems "sharp" to me. I can't wait to hear what you think!

I tried the body lotion at Nordstrom's a few weeks ago. It has a very distinctive citrus/lemony scent. It does not remind of BB ""Beach"" at all. That smells just like Coppertone.

Okay, I smelled it today and spayed it on myself. I'm surprised no one has said it smells like Baby Grace! That is what it smells like to me. Not exactly. It maybe BG without the pepper note or BG mixed with something else but IMO it is some form of Baby Grace. I like it because I love Baby Grace.

I sniffed this at Nordie's and liked it. Low key and compatible with my summer allergies.

Philosophy sent me a code and offered free shipping so I went for the spray and lotion set.

I usually gravitate toward Summer Grace, but this has a little more kick to it. Like the packaging also.

That is so funny that you mention that. I tried it last week, and immediately thought baby grace and summer grace combined.

Now, I haven't worn either of these 2 scents in months, so they may not directly compare. It left me feeling satisfied with my summer grace in my stock.
