My DD used to spend much too much time in the sun. She is now 34 and began to develop very unsightly sunspots on her face. She started a job with a derm last year and the aesthetician told her that she would be an ideal candidate for Obagi. She has only been using it for about month. I just saw her this weekend since she lives out of state. What an amazing difference! It is actually peeling off the top layer. She has learned a valuable lesson plus she now sees first hand so many patients with skin cancer. I don't know if you want to try seeing a derm.

It is a line of skincare sold in physicians offices. It includes cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. My DD mentioned that she is on the starter pkg, right now. Then she will go to a maintenance regimen. Also a friend of mine started this a few years and what a difference in her skin. She was someone who was not doing much with her skin and finally decided that she needed help with her aging skin.

Ambi from Walmart. Contains 2% hydroquinone.

Also, Nadinola. It contains 3%, has Shea butter, too. I have a hard time finding it so order rom drugstore.com. If you don't want to use hydroquinone there are natural ingredients such as licorice root that will work over time. Paula's Choice has a nice brightening serum. Any of them will take time so you have to be faithful and patient when using them.

You can also order Nadinola Extra Strengh from Walmart.com, Amazon.com, & Ebay.com.

And have patience...........any skin lightener will take at least 90 days to see results.

Metrogal RE the Obagi - be prepared to make a major investment...but there have been success stories with this product.

I've tried all the inexpensive drug store products listed above and had no success but I'm really happy for those who had a better experience!

A derm can zap them off and they will be gone forever. My derm charges $125 for 3

Very hard to get rid of completely - but - can lighten them and then cover up - I have tried every concealer but - YBF yellow powder does good job and also Maybelline Eraser type concealer with sponge on top do cover/blend spots.
