my comment was refused because in bright red letters it says a particular B word is not permitted . I never used anything close to profanity in my response to the OP's concerns. Has this happened to anyone else or is it a personal labeling, censuring?

It is not personal or labeling. All submitted text goes through the same monitoring script.

Is this about reviewing a QVC product?

Also, was this a new review submitted or a response? The title indicates a new review yet the text notes a response to an OP's concerns.

Hi, CoG!Smile I'm wondering since you mention the "red letters" if you're referring to trying to post a comment here in the forums? If so, there's a software filter which triggers the comment in red and it happens to all of us at one time or another. If you didn't have the word in your text, did you include a link, or an image, or something like that, which might have had the word embedded in it without your knowing it?

Absolutely no profanity, no links, no negative comments whatsoever. It was a response to an OPs question about concealer cracking. I expressed my appreciation for Jamie's instructions and the special concealer brush . That's it except comment about how I'd like my daughter to switch to IT because it's skin product in a makeup product, healthy skin first priority. I've never used profanity which is the stated reason for rejection

Thanks for the clarification, CoG. I know it's frustrating. In some cases, it's a word that's just close to one they don't allow. Like one you just used, "switch," but obviously that one made it through the software censor. They have a strange filter. Not always easy to figure out.

eta: One thing to do is to try and reword the post, see if it makes it through the second time.

Could it have been a thread that went south and the comment period was closed, ie poofed?
