I agree!
I'm Jewish, and Chanukah was over 2 nights ago. But it's about the entire holiday season for me, up to New Year's Day, which is a week away. I have weekend holiday plans, and don't feel in any way that the holiday season is over. The week that's ahead is actually the best part of the holidays, IMO.

Enjoying the holiday season for another week, too. Don't have to go back to work until after New Years.
Think I'll spend some time organizing a few things around the house and getting a new gym routine.

I can empathize, I did it all last weekend. Once company left, I think I was in bed by 9:30PM!
Yep, it's a lot of work! Of course I probably put more pressure on myself than necessary - but glad the 'hosting' part is over for now.

I agree. That's why they call it the Christmas season. Some of the most enjoyable days can be after the big day when the pressure is off. That's the time I like to enjoy my home and decorations and relax a bit. For me, Epiphany ends the season, not Christmas Day.

Agreed! Here in the south, and where you find Catholic families, they leave their stuff up till Jan. 6. A full 12 days after having to do with the "The Twelfth Night" pagan holiday. It also leads up to Mardi Gras. I just enjoy having the tree up as long as possible. For the time and trouble we put into it, I like to have it around a bit longer...

I enjoy the entire Christmas season, now that shopping is over we can relax a little and enjoy the calm beautiful time of year.
