Re: skinn is getting expensive

wow. I also posted about Isomers being too expensive for me to use if I added in the new ampoules which they were selling for 100 dollars ( approximately) and were suggesting for daily use.

the easy pays kind of hide the real cost of the products.ad up all the easy pays. and it is continuous- with auto deliveries.and the specials are so enticing. ( like todays spa treatment - buy 6!!!)

time to scale way back.

It's called marketing, and as consumers it's our responsibility to figure out what serves us the best. I use Skinn and have for many years. A little planning, smart shopping, discipline and my lineup competes well with drugstore/B&M brands pricewise ...AND I get the results I'm after. Smile

Re: skinn is getting expensive

I have to agree with you, that's it getting a bit overboard. Don't get me wrong, I am delighted with everything I use and there are some Skinn products that are non-negotiables for me. For those items, I know the cost and accept it (if I can't find them on eBay or Amazon), but I find that I can still use some of the less costly Korean products I still like and they all work well together. I am well stocked up on ABC Peels that I've been able to pick up for half the cost that Evine sells them for. As much as I like them, which is A LOT, I'm rethinking things and considering going back to Cure Aqua Gel once they're used up. I'm not buying today's TTV. I can take the weekends off myself with what I've got here.

Getting on an A/D which offers Value Pays that extend beyond the A/D shipping schedule could get a person into some major trouble.

Re: skinn is getting expensive

Some of Dimitri's non-negotiables are really negotiables for me. I have slowly tried most things and decided which products are best for my skin type issues. I do have my favorites which I will continue to use, I just can't possibly use everything he sells. Now that's non-negotiable! {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

Re: skinn is getting expensive

I have not watched any SKINN this weekend so far and recently returned much of my last months purchases.

gokat, I just like what you said! Smiley Happy

I never watch Dimitri. Is that what he calls some of his products -- non negotiables? That's really a hard sell, I think!

I only have a few really non-negotiables for, what I think is, the best skin care line of defense for me...vitamin C, AHAs and moisturizer (retinol being optional).

Re: skinn is getting expensive

It can get particularly expensive if you heed his repeated advice today to buy five or six of his TSVs.
