Here's what I am thinking/finding out about the security breach problems. I looked at my profile/preference page and I saw that I had not listed my email when creating my profile. It's not necessary so I would advise everyone to leave the email space blank. I also deleted my credit card number which means I will have to order by phone, which is a little inconvenient but not a biggy.
I wrote to the web master last night to close my community account. I have had no response. Of course, he might have been a tad busy last night!!!
I did change my pin number. I realize that since I did not have my email listed I might be better off than if I had listed it -- but I still feel violated by all of this.
Question: if I delete my pin number and do not create another one, would that automatically do the trick to be off the Community -- without web master doing anything? I would not be able to post but I could read everything.
Second question - if I don't have a pin number than I can't go to my account to see previous purchases, etc. Is this correct?
(As an aside, my original post on the Security Breach got more responses than any post of mine ever! Talk about going out on a high note!!!)
