Pre-sale items pose the risk of getting negative reviews posted before the items go on as TSVs. Maybe the Q doesn't want that to happen. That might affect how many are sold on the actual day of the TSV presentation...who knows.

Very keen observation. As much as the Q may (or may not) do things the way we want, I think one thing is for sure--- they do it to increase sales. And I am sure a powerhouse like QVC has data and reporting that shows all the things we complain about actually increases sales. Like xmas in July, garden days, gourmet days etc. Like annoying hosts. Like how much time is spent on any one item. Data runs the world and I bet they have it on every possible aspect.

ETA: I am totally interested in the RMS TSV. I hope it's a good one.

I DON'T MIND THAT THEY WANT TO WAIT UNTIL THE ACTUAL TSV DAY {ALTHOUGH I LOVED THE PRE-SALE}, BUT I DO THINK THERE IS NO HARM IN POSTING WHAT THE TSV WILL BE {CONTENTS AND PRICE} AND NOT A LINK TO BUY.

THAT WAY YOU WILL KNOW IF YOU WANT TO STAY UP TO PURCHASE OR SLEEP SOUNDLY KNOWING IT IS NOTHING YOU WANT!

I prefer that they don't actually do pre-sales, but I also don't see why we shouldn't know ahead of time what the item will be. In fact, it might generate more interest.

Blue Skies does not currently have what the RMS TSV will be.

FYI...it isn't listed yet. The TSVs only go through the 7th right now. Maybe in a day or two she'll list the RSM TSV picture.

I am ok with the "new" old way of doing TSV's but hopefully the supply will be enough so they don't run out early in the day. I cannot stay up till midnight to watch!!

Just ordered this foundation and it is out for delivery today. I really like her products and hope this one works for me. I like her foundation in the jar but just seems too much for me in the summer. By the way, was supposed to be delivered yesterday but tracking says it left South Carolina enroute for delivery. I am in Chicago but somehow the package wound up in San Jose, California so it took another day to get her (well, not delivered yet so we will see). Did not realize there would be a RMS TSV so I will be interested to check it out.

I ordered the foundation direct from RMS website and her makeup sponge was included with the foundation. Usually just use my fingers but eager to see how this one works out.

@SilleeMee GOOD POINT. Didn't think of that. I liked the advance notice as long as they kept a percentage of everything offered for the day of the TSV.

I don't mind QVC keeping the TSV unavailable until the day of airing, but it was nice in the past when we would know what was coming up - a beauty TSV - brand sometimes given or a kitchen or home TSV - The TSV was still unavailable until the actual day but at least you knew what was coming up and could plan purchases.
