returning makeup

Just a quick question, I was at Target yesterday and someone was returning two opened packages of foundation powder..stated she did not like the colors... is that normal? I always thought with items like that you were unable to return them, the store cant resell them. just curious what you think thanks

I have many times returned cosmetics that I have tried. I will buy only at stores that allow such returns.

Many major retailers commonly allow this practice. CVS, Walgreens, Target -- just to name a few.

My Target allows consumers to return makeup if dissatisfied after tryng it.

It's normal. There are no testers to try, so they will accept returns.
