I got a 6 piece travel brush kit in a leather case when IT first came out.  It has a paddle brush similar to this one.  I don't like it for applying foundation.  Just didn't work well for me either.  

 

Now, I do LOVE my IT brushes.  It's pretty much all I use, but I don't know what to do with this one.  It just sits there.

I was wondering the same thing when I saw it was new...

I got a kit or tsv a while back and it came in a compact that you push a button and it comes up in a little squirt.  I quit using it and forgot why.  Yesterday I put it on with the finishing powder that came in the kit.  We went to lunch and when I looked in the mirror in the car I realized why I had quit using it.  It looked like a mask.  I grabbed a napkin I had in the car and started rubbing it off.  Way too thick and heavy and it does settle in lines and wrinkles...I find the older I get less is more.
