I have bamboo supplements and collagen supplements delivering from Amazon today. I don't remember now how/why I landed on this Forest Leaf collagen. I just knew I didn't want to start w/ a powder as I didn't think I would like it in my coffee or water.
I wanted to try collagen for hair and joints ... if it does something for my skin, then bonus. Right now (knock on wood) my joints are doing fine. I can still run 35+ miles a week w/o my knees yelling at me. But I'm soon to be 65...so how long will being active w/ no knee pain last?

I fried off my hair in a bleaching accident and read it helped with hair growth. I started taking this brand and my neck and knee pain went away pretty quickly and my hair is growing like mad. I get a half an inch a month and my stylist told me this is optimum growth, and very few people get it. Then as I read more on collagen, I learned about the benefits for the skin. The brand I use has has glucosamine and I believe that helps with joint paint. The one I use goes in hot or cold beverages and has no taste.

Just an FYI to throw out....
If anyone is practicing Intermittent Fasting, adding a collagen powder to your morning coffee will break your fast.

Thank you ladies. I am sensitive to MSM and chondroitin so that's why none of the products I included has it. I think all of them have the bone broth and the other buzz words. Has anyone watched this guy concerning collagen? All of the products I listed are on amazon. He has a powdered collagen of his own also but didn't try to sell it in the video.
This is the title of his YT video. If anyone has anything else to add to the topic, (knowledge or personal testimonies/experience, I'd love to hear it).

Oh good to know. I will take mine right before my eating window opens. Ohhh ... they just delivered from Amazon, so I guess I can start today as I'm getting near my eating window. LOL.

So dang ... was not my Amazon order. It was my free $40 worth of OTC stuff from UHC medicare program. My goodness, ordered yesterday and it delivered today before 11 am. That's pretty amazing to me. (my first month on medicare, lol, and it is all a learning experience).

I dont eat tilapia, many of these contain tilapia, first I alwayus make sure the fish used is not tilapia, usually I look for cod if possible, but others are fine too., Lessman uses tilapia.

Thank you everyone. I have chosen my collagen and it's the one I originally thought I wanted. I went ahead and chose it because the other two did not indicate what type of fish collagen it included. This one says snapper and cod fish. It is a 2-month supply for $37.99 on subscription. I'm expecting miracles 😁. I so appreciate all the input!
