I don't find any spoilage on my Philosophy products, some of which I purchased from QVC and some of which I purchase from Marshalls or TJMAXX where you can get them at a discount but I don't buy their fragrances, just their 3 in 1's, so maybe that's what's different. Yesterday's haul included the set of 3 "hooray for Sorbet" (6 ozs each) in an adorable round box - $19.99; a small 4 oz bottle of Christmas Cookie - $5.99 and one 16 oz bottle of sweet orange honey jam - $12.99. I have a nice sized stash of things like this, some I keep, some I give away but the price is too good to not take advantage of.

The price of today's TSV with tax and S&H is almost $90...too rich for my blood but enjoy the set if you bought it.

I am still drawing from my stash so I can't speak about the changes. My old IG is still very strong, some days I tone it down with PG. The newest fragrance I've bought is Fresh Cream and I'm happy with that but it seems to evaporate? I can't believe I'm going through it as fast as it seems to be disappearing. Shower gels I get at TJ and Marshalls at reduced prices. The only thing I buy with any regularity are their skin care products, they work for me and though pricey they last a long time.

Yes. It's been happening longer than a year. I bought a Philosophy Pure Grace body cream at Nordstrom and had to return it because it had no scent. I never buy the TSV because I'm always disappointed in the strength of the fragrance. Once Christine left, that was the end of the good Pure Grace smell.

I wear Unconditional Love (since it was introduced) and that scent was never known for lingering Wink, which is okay for me. I don't know what happened to the body butters and I've yet to find the UL in the whipped body crème, so I can't tell if UL is on it's way out or not.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

My favorites are Inner and Eternal Grace so I just don't have any interest any more. Their skin care never did anything for me. I might pick up a shower gel from a discount store if I see a scent I like but I'm pretty much done with Philosophy. I've tried other scents. I don't know if it's specifically because of Coty or QVC's value sets but I tried an OTO and a TSV and the scent lasted 5 minutes. I don't like the scents as much as my older favorites and they have no staying power so I'm done trying. Smiley Sad

I agree with everyone else. The quality has really diminished. A few weeks ago I found a bottle of Pure Grace shower gel in the back of my linen closet from the "old days" when Christina had the company. I started using it and the scent is just as strong and beautiful as I remember. What a shelf life! Believe me, I'm going to stretch this bottle out as long as I can! However, it is really sad that the last bottle of "today's" Pure Grace, smelled more like the plastic bottle than it did the lovely fragrance that I smell in this old bottle. I could probably sell this bottle on eBay for a fortune, but I'm not parting with it!

I used to buy Falling In Love all the time, had it on auto delivery several years ago, stopped all my autos cause we were getting ready to move across country. Saw the TSV earlier this year and bought it, put it on auto and when I received it, thought it was just about the same (perfume did not have the oil in it that it used to).... and then noticed the scent was no longer noticable before I even left the house. The body butter actually lost ALL SCENT about two months into using it. I have about 1/2 the jar left even now. I use it occasionally because I feel it still moisturizes but there's nothing... I'm not exaggerating, no scent, nothing. Lays there like Crisco.

I LOVED this product but will not NOT buy another Philosophy product again, no matter how much I love the packaging. Would you believe it... I'm tempted again even today... but NO. {#emotions_dlg.mad}

I can remember a time when we would have been all over this tsv and our favorites would have been sold out by this time of day~ so sad...Frown It used to be so good and exciting to watch the old phil presentations and I would be buying the specialy boxed holiday gifts for my family...

just jumping back in here to say that while I was just showering with an OLD bottle of amazing grace I was thinking that I thankfully still have enough various shower gel stash to probably last me a lifetime~ but if the day comes where I start to see wonderful reviews for the (spray fragrances) original beautiful fragrances lasting and smelling like they once did, I would happily come back because I LOVE the old scents and MISS them...need them back! (falling in love & amazing grace especially)

On 10/9/2014 helping said: I haven't bought philosophy since Christina Carlino sold it. I loved Inner Grace, which came out around that time, and that fragrance has been discontinued. L'Occitane is my go-to fragrance, bath & body line. I'm glad I have a L'Occ store nearby.

Same here (in bold).

I have to agree.

I used to love Purity, the 'new' formula breaks me out.

The fragrances are now so weak.

I agree and I used Purity for years. It is not the same anymore. The fragrances have also changed.
