What a relief to read these comments! I thought it was just me.

The fragrance just doesn't last, even the more expensive eau de parfum. Kicking myself for re-ordering repeatedly in the hope of a better result.

Same here (in bold).

I have to agree.

I used to love Purity, the 'new' formula breaks me out.

The fragrances are now so weak.

ITA. I still love some of the 3 in 1 shower gels, but I don't buy nearly as much anymore for fear of getting "duds" with barely any scent. It's happened to me a couple of times this year.

My favorite Scent, Falling In Love has literally no lasting power, leaves your skin before you even leave the house in the morning.

I used to buy it a few years ago, loved it~! Got compliments and just adored the scent. Stopped my auto delivery because we were getting ready to move across country. When we finally got here after awhile I decided to try one of the auto deliveries (large perfume, body scrub and body butter). What happened just shocked me. After about a month or two the body butter HAD NO SCENT WHATSOEVER... none. Not even putting the lid on and waiting a day or two produced the scent. It was like Crisco. I had only used half the jar by that time. The body scrub had become lighter in scent (not as strong as when it came) and the Perfume, (which I'd had before) was a light scent to begin with (didn't seem to have the oils it needs) and it dissipated very quickly. Even DH couldn't smell it. Honestly... even on the Special Value pricing, it was $80 wasted.

I cancelled my auto delivery and will never, never, EVER buy Philosophy products again.

I only use Philosophy skin care and it works great for me. I use the 3 in 1s and like those too. My.only fragrance is Amazing Grace body spritz and I like it. I can't wear things that are too strong smelling. I work around students and teachers all day. The strength of it is fine for me.

I lost interest in 1999..Some loud lady then began to show it on Q and I did not find it to be anything but a joke. Now I see it has a product for every cutsy quote ever made. My interest was lost after purchasing AGrace and within hours I smelt rancid.. Give it away

Too much and yet it is good to buy for a fast CHEER UP A PERSON GIFT.

I do not care for it

I interviewed for a job at Philosophy many years ago. It was at the corporate office at the time. Would you believe that even their business cards are in that same lowercase print? I didn't get the job (thankfully) and the letter from the man I interviewed with was typed in all lowercase letters (like the merchandise quotes, etc) and even his name was typed that way. It made me laugh and made me ill all at the same time. It's such a gimmick but to write everything in lowercase letters, it goes against my grammar training and journalism education. Crazy!!!

The quality has definitely changed since the company was sold to Coty. I used to wear AG and PG head-to-toe and had tons of stuff on auto delivery. I stopped buying all the bath and body products except the EDP occasionally or the original formulas when I can find them on eBay. Since they had no problem dumbing down the fragrances I became concerned Coty cut corners to the skin care line as well, so I switched to other product lines. I love Josie Maran's Argan Oil line now.

I find the body washes are still good quality when they are fresh. However, I have noticed that they have turned "rancid" much sooner than they used to.

The quality of the fragrances has definitely gone downhill. I used to really like Pure Grace, but now I find that the scent and staying power has changed. I still have one "old" bottle left, but I rarely use it though.

Philosophy went to the beauty grave yard along with ojon and bare minerals. Such a shame these companies buy them because their great and destroy them. Why? They won't make long term money that way.
