I use Summer Bisque as foundation.  Looks better than the regular powder foundation on me.

I agree with you about the Summer Bisque.  I wish Bare Minerals would come out with a bigger size of the bisque.

I remember Leslie introducing the matte version, made for those who had rashes & breakouts from the bismuth used in the original & the concealer...it was perfect for me until she sold the company, the matte colors changed & I couldn't find a good color match.  I moved on the another mineral powder foundation but still miss BM.

I cannot use most powder foundations because they usually contain titanium dioxide....which causes me to have breakouts related to my Lichen planus.

However, cream foundations work best for me in order to "fill in and smooth" the appearance of my complexion.

Just recently I discovered a new company that makes a foundation based on coconut oil made by Araza...I like it a lot.

Well nuts!!! I forgot that the company got sold--and why do they need to change up the formulas--besides saving money , I mean!!!Woman Frustrated My large jar of bisque is from a few years ago--the old formula ---maybe this will not be the magic bullet I need!!! But then I still have a jar of warmth and another jar of another brownish color for contouring , I think,--maybe if the new container I just ordered doesn't work, I can add a little brown powder to the other bisque--or maybe it will just be a hot mess!!!Woman LOL-----

Glad you're so happy with your powder foundation Smiley Happy  I'm still working on my new venture into powder foundation.  I used it a few years ago when Fenty released a powder foundation.  I used it and remember liking it but was buying a lot of makeup (and foundations) back then and just moved on to something else.  What I've been using it for more than anything is covering up some broken capillaries on my chin.  After applying my liquid foundation, I'd pat a little of the Fenty on my chin.  That's the first place foundation starts to wear off on me.  A couple of weeks ago, I bought the Natasha Denona powder foundation.  I use a brush to apply it.  It's looked nice in every mirror I've looked in except my car's visor Smiley Surprised  And OMGosh!!!  I wished I could have turned around, remove it and use something else.  I may not have hydrated enough that day.  My face is SUPER dry.

Tried this powder foundation years ago but it made me itch.

@monicakm --yes my skin is very dry too. Try my best to use rich moisturizing skincare before any make up goes on. Most days I never wear any make up as I don't go out much. I have a few liquid foundatons that I like but must cut them with primer as they are so thick and heavy. I do like using bb/cc creams and forget the foundations  tho---
