i purchased the 16 oz pom and sam when he was here with the last tsv. i got the AD in case i liked it. my hair never holds any curl, body, always a flat top after a few hours. but i mainly purchased to keep my color. i have naturally what would be considered a med to dark brown hair and i color my hair with a medium neutral shade. always... heads brassy. my hairdresser got me off the box and we were working toward keeping the brassy away which for a few colors was fine but my last color ($160 later) within 3 weeks started to go major brass. at that point i decided if i'm going to go brassy then i'm going to go spending $5 for a box of color from walmart. i have painstaking learned to only color the roots then 5 minutes at the end on the rest. my hair has layers but is probably 6 inches below my shoulders. wen would be the proof in the pudding.... can i maintain the color. so the day it arrived i was due for a recolor and then started using wen. i was amazed the first time i used it. of course when you are at the salon and they start round brushing your hair from the beginning of the blow dry you do get a lot better results but i just don't do that. my hair is basically dry then i use the round brush but nothing ever holds (obviously). well i did the same thing after using the wen and oh my gosh..... i could not believe the difference.... not only did it provide curl and body but it stayed all day. and i got a compliment on my hair later that day..... and when i got home and looked at my hair it looked great STILL. i hope i can afford to continue to use this. not sure how many pumps i should be using but i get away with anywhere from 8-12 everyday. i figure when it is beginning to "drip" out of your hair... what is the purpose of more? and actually it might be all in my head but it almost seems like the product "expands" while it is sitting up in a clip. when i take the clip out and work it back through you would almost think it had bubbled up. so far i really like this stuff. i don't need to use any of the 100 styling products i was using before to try to maintain the style throughout the day but i do still use some hairspray. i'll also be anxious to see how long these 2 16 oz bottles last.
