Since I've been retired I've been keeping my nails polished, and I like the way they look. However, I can't seem to find a really effective topcoat. I don't expect miracles, but I wish my

polish would last a couple of days. Do you ladies have any recomendations  ? TIA.

I use OPI base and top coat. Seems to work pretty well for me.

I'm in love with the CND Vinylux products.  The polish and top coat stay on forever.  I bought mine at Ulta when I was visiitng my sister in Sacramento.  I will have to reorder on line because we don't have it here where I live.  I have one color, red baroness that I love love love.  Can I say love one more time?

I have been using Essie Gel-Setter, you can use regular polish with it. Before that I used Quimica Alemana Nail Hardener, it takes a little longer to dry though. Both are the longest lasting top coats I've found and I have tried too many to count.

HK Girl Glisten n' Glow. I order it online. Dries hard in about a half hour, no shrinkage, super shiny.

I use Dior Gel Coat - my manicures last at least 10 days.

What it is:
A top coat that imparts the look of a gel manicure.

What it does:
Recreate the look of a gel manicure. Smoothed over with a brilliant lacquered effect, Dior Gel Coat makes nails appear stronger and thicker. While it extends the life of your manicure, it is simple to take off: just use nail polish remover when you’re ready for your next polish change!

I use Sally Hansen Gel Topcoat.  It is fabulous and you can use it on non-gel nailpolish.  Dries very fast and leaves a beautiful shiny finish.  My manicure lasts at least a week or more.

I swear by Essie non-yellowing topcoat. And I change my nail color a lot! Years ago I noticed that the pretty peach nail color I used right before summer vacation was turning yellow. (That was when I was swimming every single day). A friend who was a nail specialist (but I never went to her - she lives too far away) told me to use this. It keeps my polish on a week (if I don't change it before then), and my nails don't yellow in the summer at all. I haven't looked back. I use Essie moisturizing base coat too! Smiley Happy

I use Quick Dry Base Coat by Revlon, OPI polish (two coats), and Extra Life Top Coat, Revlon.

I spray with a nail polish dryer lightly, wait about 15 minutes then spray about four inches away for several seconds.

I use rubber gloves to do the dishes and my nails will go two weeks!

I have tried virtually all of them. Best 2 hands down are Poshe and Sally Hansen Megs Shine Extended Wear, these both dry polish in 60 seconds to such a smooth gloss that they even cover imperfections in your manicure. I find Poshe on ebay. Both of these beat Seche Vite by a mile.
