just got 613 mousse. Do I use instead of another product or in addition ?

I usually do Cc leave in then some styling cream with a couple drops of oil and maybe glossing serum. Would I add mousse to that or use it instead of some of that.

I use cc as leave in, sc mixed with oil, then put in the mousse. The leave in is to add back moisture, the sc is to smooth the hair cuticle and is a heat protectant, the mousse is for hold. If you put everything in one at a time in soaking wet hair, at least for my fine hair, it doesn't overload it. I don't use the serum, the 613 mousse adds enough shine for me.

I was typing the same time as you were - I use mousse for air drying or blow drying, either one.

In his June shows, Chaz mentioned that for the leave-in that, to soaking wet hair, you should always add the heaviest styling products first and finish with the lightest styling products.

In the demos I saw, he started with the CC. Sometimes he has said add 1/2 pump to a pump of CC, and other times he has said to add a dime sized amount of CC (I add a 1/2 pump of CC from a 16oz bottle). -- The CC puts moisture back into the hair.

Then he adds the SC. I don't use the GS but I think he mixes the SC and the GS together. Does anyone know more about mixing the SC and the GS together? -- Chaz has mentioned that the Styling Creme adds lightweight leave-in conditioner for moisture, polishing gloss for shine, light gel for hold, anti-frizz, and acts as a heat protectant.

The mousse is the last product added to the hair. -- The mousse has smarthold technology that really works for my thin/fine hair. The 613 mousse is the only mousse that also has the special shine ingredient that adds more shine to the hair.

Awe thanks that explanation makes perfect sense to me now.

I've been adding a full pump of Cc and a full pump of SC maybe I have been using to much my hair I 3 or 4 inches below shoulders.

I'm really not liking the glossing serum much at all. It had such good reviews I ordered it.

I have thin/fine shoulder length hair.

For my leave-in I use 1/2 pump of CC (from a 16oz. bottle). I started out by using a whole pump of CC for a leave in but, for me that was way too much product. I think Chaz's presentations are a bit confusing with regard to the leave in because he goes between "dime size" and a pump. -- You might want to experiment by going down to 34 pump, then, 1/2 pump, and then 1/4 pump and see how this affects your results.

Then I first started using Wen three years ago, 1 pump of SC was way too much for my hair. After experimenting for a while I found that 1/2 pump of SC worked best for my hair. These days I am able to use a full pump of SC for my hair (probably because my hair is healthier). Sometimes I just use a 1/2 pump of SC.

btw, my hair really needs the amino acid complex, so my leave in is always all 613 products:

* 1/2 pump 613 CC (from 16 oz. bottle)

* either one pump or 1/2 pump of 613 SC

* 3 pumps of 613 mousse

A lot of people really liked the GS initially. Later on I started reading more post that some people stopped using it because it was too drying. It will be interesting to see whether the GS wins this year's Customer Choice Award (or if the SC wins it back again).

Then I air dry my hair.

Are you using it on dry or wet hair? I always use it on wet hair mixed in with the SC, but I've heard some people say that it made their hair dry when used on dry hair.
