Help is on the way. These are some new actives that are soon to be used in skincare and haircare. I'm surprised to see Linda Marshall on the judging pane as she doesn't seem to understand, or even know how to pronounce the ingredients in her own products. The new ingredients are hard to find though in ingredient decks as they use the chemical name, rather than the trade names below most of the time.
Ashland Specialty Ingredients with N-DurHance™ A-1000 polymer, the first truly durable solution for hairrepair and conditioning. A new cationic polymer, the ingredient works through in situ controlled flocculation (ISCF) helping to restore hydrophobicity to hair and to maintain a conditioning benefit over the course of multiple wash cycles.
Gattefossé with CYTOBIOL™IRIS A2, a synergistic blend of iris, vitamin A and zinc that has been clinically shown to reduce skin imperfections and minimize pores. Gattefossé with EMULIUM® MELLIFERA, a new generation of PEG-free emulsifier that auto-adapts to skin type and climate, creating emulsions that are white and luxurious in appearance. In cold and dry climates, they soothe and protect the skin from dehydration whilst in tropical conditions, they form an invisible shield which neutralizes the greasy and heavy skin feel that results from high humidity.
