We all have things that we will do the minute they reopen our country/cities, etc.  Your's is important to you just like mine is to me.  Go for it.   No shame here.

@hopi Good grief! She doesn't have a lot of procedures, she gets some Botox. She says she's 70. Your catty comment is as rude as some of the stuff she's encountered.

In fact there are a lot of snotty comments about this.

If someone wants a little "something" and can pay for it, why do so many of you scold a person for that? Maybe a little jealousy? or just being unkind.

I say GO FOR IT !! Get whatever you need.!  Woman Happy

@Love my grandkids  Good Grief

To say that you look awful without procedures is so sad.  The advertising world has shamed you.  People are beautiful no matter what age.   Not scolding.  Not Jealous.

Any procedure that makes you feel good about yourself is fine.

Beauty practices are  enjoyable.   The bottom line is it does not define you or me.

Kind people always are stunned by my age so it is a wonderful compliment to receive but that is all that it is kind words.

You think after being closed in by this tragedy people would put values on other things besides toxic beauty.

omg I'm going to barf!

No judgments from me, but I am truly surprised so many women avail themselves of so many beauty treatments.  I'm finding myself grateful that at my advanced age I worry about none of them.  I have always done my own mani/pedi and my nails are looking especially great since I am not using them as much now.  I've never colored my hair and have no grey.  My hair is in a one length bob so now it is a bit longer and looks fine.  I take care of my skin on my own and never had a facial or any treatments.  Of course I have wrinkles, but it is what it is.  No one believes My age when I tell them. No beauty stresses from me at all.  I'm feeling lucky.

@SeaMaiden I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am that people were so rude about your legs that it brought you to tears.  Some people are just beyond clueless.  đźŚ·

I'm really puzzled at how judgemental some people can be. "Beauty treatments"? what are you talking about? Make-up, cosmetics, perfumes, etc.? Most women do like to look  nice; if not for their men or their families, as a sign of self-respect. Wanting to look your best. It's not like most of us are squandering the rent money on plastic surgery.

When I'm home by myself I don't bother with those things but when my husband is around or if I'm going to go out in public, I like to make myself presentable. It's also a sign of respect to other people; that you think enough of them that you want to make your best effort to look presentable.

Sheesh!

I am not talking about makeup or cosmetics. I always look my best even going food shopping.  I wear makeup everyday when I go out.  I am more than "presentable"  with my hair, makeup and clothing.  And I do it for myself not to please others.  Treatments are treatments, I don't know what you don't understand and are puzzled about. Makeup is not a treatment.

Sheesh!
