Retin-A helps with wrinkles after long term use. Most people who have "enhancements" don't look natural.

I disagree with that. Enhancements done the right way are undetectable and make you look like a better version of yourself...refreshed look and not tired-looking. Most enhancements which are noticeable are usually the ones which don't look natural for instance too much filler or skin pulled too tight.

If I was in the public eye, behind HDTV, studio lights and all, then I would probably feel the pressure to get some kind of work done, too.

Retin-A is the only proven anti-wrinkle product ever invented. It has the FDA to back that up. It won't, however, lift sagging skin but it will help prevent that from getting worse by preserving what you have now.

All you have to do is look at Jane and Mary Beth, that proves so called skin care anti aging products do not work.  With the exception of a few others, all hosts are botoxed and filled to the max.  It really must be hard to age on TV for everyone to criticize but here I am doing just that.

I'm just thankful I'm not on high def TV because I refuse to get fillers, lifts, injections, whatever is out there. It's sad to me that women work so hard not to embrace their age and then end up looking so different. I have a dear friend who started getting something done (still not sure what and I'm not asking) in her early 60s and started looking off. She finally stopped and looks like she's just aging now. I don't like when people stop looking like themselves any longer. I know a lot of men in the public eye have eye lifts but few have as much work done as women. I think Keith Urban messed up his looks by not aging naturally. Just my opinion...and everyone has them, right?

@SilleeMee   I've found if Retin A is started and used regularly it can also help produce collagen which in turn can prevent some sagging. Of course, as you said, this is over long term use.

@THETOT   Those hosts mentioned are both quite fair skinned. They may have been in the sun w/o spf for many years before beginning a skincare regimen.

I applaud them for not having "work" done, but there are other hosts/vendors around the same age who have very natural looks while still aging.

Mary Beth and Jane, etc. may not be interested in lasers, peels, ultherapy...all non-invasive procedures which can improve the look of the skin's surface. Either way, good skincare is necessary if women want to age gracefully w/o cosmetic surgery.
