herbal essances cleansing conditioner

I finally tried the one for color treated hair. it smells good. like roses. easily distributes in the hair and rinses out.Very gentle. Nothing about it puts it above other shampoos tho.

It does clean and condition well

Thanks for the review. I preordered mine from amazon and it won't ship till the 20th. Where did you get yours? Maybe it's like Wen. I hear it works better over time. Are you using sulphate free shampoo now?

Sounds good! I like only using 1 product! I color my hair so I like that its gentle. Do you think its a Wen clone? The rose scent sounds wonderful..where did you find this??

Re: herbal essances cleansing conditioner

I bought it recently at Walmart, can't recall how much I paid, but guessing around $6. I used it yesterday and am very happy with the results. I've used Chaz Dean's 613 on and off and really, really liked it, but considering how much it was, it got to be ridiculous. I always felt a bit guilty ordering it because with shipping and tax, it came out to be around $70. This new product will do just fine.

I love reading these boards, and I like reading others' opinions about products, new or old.

Have a great day everyone!

What type of hair do you have? I'm still wondering if this will work on oily hair or if it is far too moisturizing like WEN has been for me, along with a few other versions.

Hi Barbi, I used to use Wen too... just too expensive..I am so glad they are coming out with other brands..you had to use so many pumps too, it was just ridiculous! I think Chaz has made enough money off me and others, lol. He has infomercials etc. It may be a good product but its WAY overpriced IMO. It also causes hair loss for me too! Glad to see you like this shampoo, can't wait to try it!

I have baby fine hair. Cleans and moisturizes well but not at all as heavy as wen

Wen is a patented product. As such any knock offs can't be that close without infringing on the patent. At least until it expires. Which isn't for years still.

I read about it on the wen forum, musings of a muse had great reviews of the other cleansing conditioner from herbal essances. I purchased it on drugstore.com.

Re: herbal essances cleansing conditioner

Kcladyz, thanks for the review of this ...I recall you mentioned this in an earlier post. I was actually looking for this yesterday at WM (did not have it).

How does it compare to Pantene Co-Wash?

I picked up Herbal Essence The Sleeker the Better conditioner (with Cupacu butter?) I will try as a Co-Wash. The matching poo had SLS, so I passed on that.
