Shaper.  Not Shaper Plus....just original Shaper.   Have used it for years.

I have used Shaper for decades but recently have had problems with the nozzle clogging--even a hot water rinse does not help.

@Lipstickdiva , what is the generic called?

@Shiloh09, it is a gray can with black lid and it just says Generic Value Products and then what it is the generic version of.

That's the way Sally does their generic products.  They don't even bother giving them another name.  LOL

Another vote for Shaper (not Shaper Plus) the original.  My stylist told me to use it on my barely damp hair to finish blow drying and then lightly again after I finish with the flat iron and final styling. I've been using it for 4 or 5 years and my hair is always worry-free.

Re: hair spray recommendations please

There are only two hairspray brands I have used regularly for the past 30 years.  Paul Mitchell and Nick Chavez.  That said, once Nick brought his sprays to QVC PM dipped to a distant second.  Right now I have Thirst Quencher, Mesquite, and Diva on hand, but for the record, Thirst Quencher is my favorite.
