Susan, the best one that I heard thus far (not from this board) was that Wen turned the person's braces colors. I laughed at that for days!
What they were eating it? It can't have tasted good.
some will say just about anything to get a reaction.....there's a poster who admitted to "stirring the pot" then sitting back to watch the "fireworks"

I lose a lot of hair in the shower, but that's because my hair is usually up in a ponytail all day and probably most of the hair loss happens when I'm showering. I also work a stressful job and seem to shed more hair on the days I work. 
I do not blame WEN in the slightest though. It happens no matter what I use to clean my hair.
My stylist has had other clients who had WEN turn their hair icky orange/rust color.
And if you'll notice in the before/after photos, the after photos have the color MUCH, MUCH darker.
Didn't she know that orange is the new black?
That is actually really pretty on her!
I thought she was gorgeous, with her smoldering exotic looks, touched by fire. My vote for the next Wen model.

I like that pic. I would wear something like that, but we aren't allowed to have our hair dyed colors that are not natural. We can't even dye our hair pink for breast cancer month...bummer. The Warden doesn't have any hair, so he really doesn't care about pink for breast cancer month. I reckon we will have wear pink shirts or scarves or gloves or paint our nails pink. Bummer for me! I was so ready to go pink! I was thinking shocking pink. It is something to do with gang colors at work, but really, what gang has pink as their color.. Realy......

As I said, I have nothing personal against Chaz. Some of you can be quite mean. I have only one arm that works. I know I am not over cleansing. As a matter of fact the reason I have loved using Wen is because my hair stayed cleaner longer. My daughter by the way is a hair dresser. I was buying Wen ,not her products. I did show her the hair loss. She said maybe more comes out as I wash less often. The truth though is I have stopped using it and the hair loss is so much less. Thank you fore the kind-hearted people. For the others, try being kinder. I love Chaz and I love his dogs.
There are some extreme WEN fans on these boards, and they go bananas when anyone mentioned the problems WEN products cause.
Mine was not only hair loss, but turned my gorgeous blonde hair a hideous orange/rust color. Thank heavens for Malibu that I just kept using til it was finally out!!!!!!!

Seriously, I don't know why we even bother wasting our time defending this kind of tripe. Myself included.
Agree. Although, I do get annoyed with some of these posters who claim to have bad results with Wen post this nonsense about Wen. Especially that Wen changed their hair color. This is one of the most ridiculous posts that I have ever read about Wen.
Um, no, your head in the sand about this product doesn't keep it from being true.
Sorry try again--there is absolutely nothing in Wen that will make you hair turn orange. Maybe it's time for a new colorist. I have light blonde hair and have been using Wen for years and it's never turned brassy or orange.
I did try it again - I tried it twice. Both times same results.
Colorist? Haha....I'm the colorist...my stylist loves the look I give myself. Never had anyone want to do my color since I'm a natural blonde, and what I do is 100% perfect for my coloring and hair.
No change needed....just using up the stuff as hand soap. Would use it for my animals since I see some reporting it kills fleas on dogs, but my critters are all black and white, and I sure don't want them to be black and orange, except maybe for Oct. 31.
