great results with Tri-Luma but

i used Tri-Luma for melasma for almost 4 months had great results, It cleared my skin but when I stopped using it 2 weeks i started to see that my cheek is gettting darker again. i dont know if i should keep using the cream on that area and how safe is it to use it for longer time.
