It's been over 12 years since I colored my hair---had cancer in 2012 so lost my hair, then afterward, decided not to put anymore chemicals into my system, so just let it go. But my DS is getting married in Sept and I decided to get an upgrand for his wedding. Not sure what my girl is planning on doing--prob lowlights/ highlights---have grey brown hair now. Have been determined not to pay the high cost, so didn't do more than a cut. Used to be $75 for an all over highlight plus cut and included the tip--my hair is short, around my ears---should be interesting!!

@wagirl I bet your color is beautiful. Maybe look at some photos on Pinterest. Just put in your hair length and you'll get lots of ideas. You could keep your color and just do a color boost with shampoo. Once you pick out your dress it will all come together. I'd experiment before the big day to make sure you like it.
When my son got married it was the most joyous day! Congratulations!!🎉

Do yourself a huge favor and look into Dressing Your Truth (by Carol Tuttle). There's a blog with all sorts of info on hair (length, color, style), makeup, clothes, accessories and how to put it all together in a way that reflects the best version of who you are.

How exciting! I'm sure it will be nice but please avoid blue, purple, orange, etc - unnatural colors.

This is a picture of a woman who got highlights on her gray hair. I think it looks pretty.

@wagirl I went for just low lights because it grows out and can't see roots like highlights. I only have them done every 4 mos. or so. She puts them under the the top layer of my hair and skips my white "money piece" so when I pull my hair back, it's still somewhat white around my face but 1/2 from hairline, it has darker pieces.
I love it since it gives my hair the depth it needed.
I hope you love what she decides to do for you.
