get so confused with all the IT foundations!

[ Edited ]

Now they have a new one:

@-257368 CC veil SPF -50 cushion compact with brush

With all the others she has, I just do not understand the need for another one.

I understand it is suppose to be more of a serum... not as thick as her other CC...

I  would guess that is the plus.

Still sometimes I think a line just gets too complicated with so many kinds of the same thing.

Totally agree.  It becomes a turn off for me because it just gets so confusing.

Instead of coming out with so many foundations, I think they should spend time developing new shades for the ones they have.  I haven't been able to find a color match with It.  At times the rep on air appears like she has a hard time finding the right shade too.

This seems like a lighter option than the regular CC. I ordered it a few minutes ago. Even if I hate the foundation (which I don't plan on!) I'll keep it just for the brush.

Me too. I love all the IT products but why so many foundations? Seems like the same stuff just packaged differently.  That's ok I guess. I keep buying IT and loving IT

It's not only confusing but also - so contradicting.  IT claims THIS PRODUCT  to be the be-all end-all if you have skin inperfections..........and then another product is presented and we hear THIS PRODUCT  will fix all your issues.   Why do we neede six products to solve ONE problem?

The voice - the presentations - I'm totally turned off and so is the TV.    (wink)

IT isn't the only one doing this.  Tarte, BE & Philosophy are constantly having new and the greatest foundations.  It does get confusing.  I'm going to Ulta today to see if I like this new foundation before purchasing here.

Yes, but with many cosmetic companies, their different foundations target different types of skin and/or issues.

I don't see that differentiation being made with IT cosmetics, but maybe I've missed it.

I do not like when they do that.I loose faith in a company that constantly brings out new products that they already have recently said was the newest and best.

That is what Dr Denese did and I droped out of her customer list !   All the "new" gets confusing and tireing after a while!                ( for me anyway!)

Re: get so confused with all the IT foundations!

IMO, the various cosmetic companies are just trying to accommodate their customers (or potential customers).  Some people like a stick foundation, some like a liquid, others like a cream from a tube, and still others like a cushion delivery system.  I don't fault the companies at all for expanding their product lines in order to appeal to the masses.  That's what good, profitable businesses do.  It's up to the consumer to do their research and know what they're buying.
