? for tinted moisturizer users

Now that it's summer, I'd like to lighten my make up. I am torn between going with a tinted moisturizer such as Bobbi Brown's oil free tinted moisturizer and a light foundation such as Urban Decay's Naked foundation. Can you tell me what the difference is between a sheer foundation and a tinted moisturizer? Why do you like one over the other? Thanks!!!
