?? for TCA peel users?

I am new to the peels. I ordered the 12.5% peel. I used it for the first time last week. It did absolutely nothing, no buring, redness,etc. I called Makeup Artist. They said I could use another "coat" after the first 5 min. I did it again, and at the 5 min. mark I put it on again, NOTHING. I have I guess, fairly thick, or strong skin. I am going to call back and see what they suggest, but am wondering if I can do it again this week, with three coats. Am wondering what is your experience with this? Regards, P.
