I read that he gave away a lot of his money to charity...gave up his riches is what it said. I also read where elf was sold for something like $300 million.

I think Elf is a lot like Aldi. It’s fine for the price but usually not my first choice.

It's wonderful that we have choices.  There is a price point for everyone.  Like I mentioned, I used to wear nothing but drugstore makeup.  My first highend was from Dillards.  Lancome (or EL foundation), Lancome eyeshadow, Lancome mascara (Definicils) and Chanel lipgloss.  Bare Minerals loose blush but I don't think that's high end.  Then Sephora came to our mall and I fell in love with everything Fenty.  And it's blossomed from there   I love it!  Spendy makeup is my drug of choice LOL

I use many ELF products: eyeshadow, primer, camo concealer. 

I also have a few high end items: Bobbi Brown color corrector, Hourglass setting powder, Glow Recipe moisturizer. (Is GR considered high end?)

I like mixing both types. I have gotten all my high end products on sale or in mini size.
