I wonder if the Internet has changed this rule........
Our friends spent a few years there on temporary contact job and I remember her saying she had to have a lot of stuff shipped to her as stores did not carry things.
If it was carried in a store, sitting on the shelf it had to meet "certain requirements" I wonder now if the animal testing is one of those requirements. She could order and have it sent though.
There was of course things that would not ship to China though
