@Tricolor   QVC needs three 24 hour gift channels? Most say Gift Guide, Gifts of Style, etc. I only record shows with specific items. Just not sitting through 4 hrs. of miscellaneous programming.

They have to go where their sales are.  Obviously they are finding beauty is down for the season.  I seem to remember many featured gifts of beauty in the old days, like Tarte TSV kits, for example.  I always loved the December Insider, the paper one.  I could map out my beauty purchases for DD and myself out of the TSV's.
