I washed my m/u brushes today and found it rather difficult to get the m/u off with my 2 in 1 Bed Head shampoo. I applied the shampoo twice and still couldn't get the residue off.

Any recs?

Try Dawn original dishwashing liquid. How often do you usually clean your brushes? I have other suggestions for you if you want them to clean them on a regular basis. But for now this should take care of your problem area.

I use Dawn, Clarifying shampoo and sometimes Wen. They all work well. Oops, almost forgot that I clean all of my eyeliner brushes with Maracuja Oil or Argan Oil. Just 2 drops on a tissue or paper towel cleans several brushes. I tried baby oil but found the others left the brushes much nicer.

Usually it's just whatever shampoo is in the shower or liquid hand soap that's at the sink.

There is another thread here that discusses in depth other cleaning options. You may want to check that thread out.
